Nothing is better than seeing fellow members get clients.
...maybe one thing:
The fact that Freelance Fam had a part to play.
Inspiration
Confidence
Skills
Knowledge
Strategy
Friendships
Exposure
Accountability
etc.
I chatted with a few members and asked them to share a short piece on how Freelance Fam helped them get clients.
Hope it inspires you - here's what they said:

There was so much going on in the world when I decided to start freelancing; it was exciting and daunting at the same time. But in the end, I made it with help from a community that gave me more than just support, I was able to get work through community networking that's still going on today.
The prospect of being my own boss, working my own hours and making more money were all great reasons to start freelancing, even if it wasn't full time, yet.
I had just finished a beginner programming course when I came across a life changing resource, the Complete Freelancing Bundle.
Fast forward, it brought me to a community, with the leader Kyle Prinsloo, and my freelancing career went from 0 to 100 real quick.
I learned how to price my services to get people to buy, the major benefits and security of monthly recurring income, the best ways to manage clients and projects effectively and even got to connect and work with another agency for work that's still going on today.
The truth is that I am not exactly where I want to be, yet, but I know I would be a lot further from my goals if it wasn't for Kyle and the Freelance Family.
But that's ok, because everybody in the community is still there for me as I continue to progress and get to where I want to be.
I'm very grateful to have found a place where I've done nothing but grow because of continuous engagement, guidance and support, and I recommend everyone who is starting or needs help on their journey to join the best community out there, the Freelance Fam.

The Freelance Fam is the place to be if you're serious about growing as a freelancer. This community helped me tremendously in a lot of different ways.
First, it provided me with guidance from people who are far ahead of the game.
Just by being in the group it pushes you more towards taking freelancing seriously. If you spend your time with experts, you're going to end up knowing a lot without even trying.
By far, the biggest thing that this community has helped me with is connections. I've met some wonderful people that I've learned tons from.
My advice would be to just f***g join. It's literally free and you have nothing to lose. I would argue that it provides just as much or even more value than some of these other paid communities. And I'm speaking from personal experience.

Jumping into freelancing was a mix of excitement and uncertainty for me.
After leaving a toxic job environment in 2021, I decided to dive headfirst into freelancing, not fully realizing the challenges ahead. It was a tough start, filled with learning curves and the realization that maybe I should have started this as a side hustle.
But then, Freelance Fam came into the picture.
This community, spearheaded by Kyle, was a game changer.
It wasn’t just the resources or the job postings that made the difference; it was the ethos of over-delivering and genuine support among members. This mindset was pivotal in how I approached potential gigs.
My story with Kyle is a testament to patience and persistence. In December 2022, I reached out to him on Twitter for some outsourcing work and didn't hear back.
Fast forward a year, and I'm not just working for Kyle (and others) but receiving praise for my work.

Freelance Fam has truly helped my journey as a freelance web designer.
The community guided me when I felt lost, and Kyle's step-by-step posts advice felt like having a trusted mentor by my side. Thanks to them, I've earned my first $ online, and now on the journey to become a full-time freelancer.
Building a solid network is key. When I started with no clients, I reached out with cold DMs and even offered free designs.
One shoutout on Twitter brought me 5 leads. So, my advice: nurture your network—it's your greatest asset.

I found FreelanceFam at the right time - Motivation was low, finances was down and nothing was looking right.
The first couple of weeks of joining the community and meeting new people in there, I started feeling the excitement again and just a few months later things started looking up.
Secured long-term clients in the group, reached record months and have just been learning a lot. One of the best decisions I've made without a doubt.

I was stuck in a 9-6 job that I didn’t really enjoy and I always felt like I wanted more. I’d had a taste of working for myself whilst at uni where I did a bit of freelancing but I was advised to get a ‘proper job’.
I have worked in start ups and big organisations, but I longed for the freedom of working for myself, having control over my day and not having my income capped.
After much searching I came across Kyle and the Freelance Fam and joined the community.
I am so grateful I did! Everyone is so nice and so friendly, the weekly calls are so insightful and SO useful and a chance to get direct help with your business from Kyle and the whole community it is such a great master mind vibe and everyone is really welcoming and always happy to help!
So far the community has helped me with pricing, systemising my business, and come up with a load of ideas for getting clients.
The community is really there for anyone no matter what level you are at everyone is on there own journey and everyone is super supportive, so no matter if you need help with getting started, hitting your next income goal or you have a tech question the community is so great, is always happy to help, and super active too! and I am so grateful to be a part of it.
If anyone is thinking about joining I would say go for it! You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
My advice for anyone who is starting out, is that the hardest part is starting! Every step after that is progress to taking the steps to building your dream life.

Freelance Fam has been an invaluable asset in my freelance web development journey.
This vibrant community serves as a rich resource hub, connecting me with a supportive network of experienced freelancers and providing access to valuable learning opportunities. Their diverse experience and insights have empowered me to elevate my skills and confidently approach client work.
Competitions like the Monthly Challenge offer an exciting platform to showcase creativity and hone development and design skills, alongside other talented developers and designer, on Wix Studio.
These friendly competitions not only pushed my boundaries but also led to valuable opportunities to connect with paying clients as well as winning the cash prize a few times.
It's been almost two rewarding years being a part of Freelance Fam, and I'm incredibly grateful for the community, inspiration, and growth opportunities it has provided.
This experience has been instrumental in shaping my success as a freelance web developer.

Joining Freelance Fam has completely changed my freelancing journey.
As I’ve met Kyle and been active on the community, I have learnt so much about value-based pricing and cold outreach strategies.
This has helped me refine my offer, understand the customer mindset and land a lot of clients for my agency.
Not only that, I’ve also met a lot of successful freelancers in the community whom I’m currently collaborating with and helping their clients reach their goals.
Trust me, freelancing is easy, when you have the right guidance.
So if you’re a freelancer or aspiring to be one, this community will definitely provide you all the tools and guidance necessary to scale your business to six-figures.

There are many more, but hope this inspires you to keep going 🙂
